Bill Broyles and Bruce Dinges

January 16, 2020

Bill Broyles and Bruce Dinges have collaborated in editing a collection of fifty reflections on the life and work of award-winning author Charles Bowden. Growing up in Tucson, Bill fell in love with the Southwest and its literature at an early age. His lifelong friendship with Bowden began when Chuck suggested taking a hike that fills the pages of Bowden’s book Blue Desert. Bruce’s appreciation for Bowden’s work spans four decades as an editor, publisher, and writer at the University of Arizona and the Arizona Historical Society. In America’s Most Alarming Writer Broyles and Dinges introduce readers to a unique and important literary voice.
